Choosing A Diet With Low Glycemic Index Carbs
By JustReview.org

The key at the base of most diets is to either eat less or to increase your physical activity level. It was until the low carbs that a diet claimed you could return to eating carbohydrates. Everyone has seen the Nutrisystem commercials that claim a new scientific breakthrough means carbs are no longer off limits. However, you should consider what really happens when you have a diet of low carbs. A low carbs diet may not exactly help you lose weight, but eating these foods will help increase the amount of energy that you have in your diet. The Atkins diet works in a similar way, but it does so by eliminating all parts of the diet that can have the necessary nutrients for good health. A low carbs diet has special benefits for diabetics since they can learn how much certain foods will increase their blood sugar levels. Additional Benefits A low cards diet also has other added benefits, you will feel less tired, less cold and hungry and you will improve your cardiovascular risk factors. As a result of these benefits it is reasonable to expect that people on low carbs diets will exercise more and are more likely to stay on their diet longer. This will then improve individuals chances of losing more weight and maintaining

a healthy weight once they lose the desired pounds. A Comparison Two diets that should be compared to get a good overview of the benefits of a low carbs diet is the low carb and low diets. A low carb diet focuses mainly on the quantity of carbs you eat with a strict induction phase. On the other hand, the diet focuses on the quality of carbs that you eat and it looks for a more low fat and healthy approach. A low carb diet has a restrictive beginning phase. There is a huge weight loss within the first two weeks. All high carb foods are either severely restricted or not allowed in your diet at all. These diets tend to be high in fat and may not allow a lot of room for fruits and vegetables. The main focus of these diets is to limit all types of carbs. Rather a low carbs diet focuses on eating only good carbs that have a low glycemic index. This allows for a gradual and consistent weight loss instead of a rapid weight loss. With this diet all types of foods are permitted and you can mix foods in your meals to create a low meal with a lot of fiber. The diet allows you to get fruits and vegetables that are full of vitamins and antioxidants. These diets work well for people with all eating habits including vegetarians.
